Julius Baer wins Swiss Derivative Award in the category “Best Market Maker”

At this year’s Swiss Derivative Award 2019 ceremony held last night, the independent high-profile jury named Bank Julius Baer as Best Market Maker in the category leverage products.

The Swiss Derivative Awards were presented for the 14th time on March 21, 2019 at an evening event at AURA in Zurich. The “Oscars of the derivatives industry” recognize outstanding, innovative products and special services in the Swiss market for structured products. The expert jury consists of independent and experienced experts from Switzerland. It combines both practical and theoretical knowledge. The jury is headed by Prof. Dr. Marc Oliver Rieger of the University of Trier.

For investors, fair prices on the secondary market are an important element of a «good» investment product. In the category "Leverage Products", Bank Julius Baer was awarded first place as the best market maker. We, as an issuer, stood out thanks to our consistently high quality market making service.
